Introduction to Storytelling for Seniors 55+

Storytelling, or the art of storytelling, is a deeply human form of expression that has been used throughout history to convey knowledge, traditions, and personal experiences. For seniors, storytelling is not only a way to share memories or stories from the past, but also a valuable tool for maintaining an active mind and strengthening social bonds.

Storytelling can help improve memory and delay cognitive decline by stimulating the recall of memories and details.

It allows seniors to express their feelings and experiences, providing them with a form of emotional catharsis and reducing feelings of isolation.
