Seniors ZONE in gamification and art-therapy
The project "Seniors ZONE in gamification and
art-therapy" No 2023-1-NL01-KA210-ADU-000157474, is funded by the Erasmus+
programme and is a transnational initiative undertaken by a consortium of three
organisations from the European Union, with the aim of improving the skills of
adults and reducing the risk of social exclusion for seniors over 50 years of
age.
Project Objectives:
The project aims to develop extended
skills for adult education workers by applying the principles of gamification,
a modern technique that facilitates learning at all ages.
By implementing the project activities, the participating
organisations will improve their capacity to work transnationally and manage
international projects.
The project will have a positive impact on seniors,
contributing to improving their quality of life and preventing the risk of
social exclusion.
Stichting CODINE (Netherlands): Project Coordinator, with
experience in project management and extensive knowledge of the adult education
landscape in Europe.
Association 'European Integration in the Field of Youth,
Sport, Volunteering and Active European Citizenship' (Romania): Brings
knowledge of the Romanian context and experience in working with adults and
seniors.
ASSOCIATION DE COOPERATION AL DESAROLLO ABARKA (Spain):
Experience in addressing the needs of marginalized communities and developing
innovative approaches in education and training.
Activities and Final Products: The project includes a series
of training activities in Spain and the Netherlands, where participants will
learn to integrate gamification and art-therapy into educational programs for
seniors. An e-learning platform will also be developed to host art-therapy and
gamification workshops, designed specifically for seniors. Another important
result will be the good practice guide "Gamification and Art-Therapy for
All", which will include studies, questionnaires and workshops on working
with seniors, providing active links to the e-learning platform and the project
website.
This initiative represents a valuable example of how Erasmus+
projects can bring significant improvements in the lives of seniors and contribute
to their social and educational integration into the community.
