    Prague Treasure Hunt 55+

    Discover – Explore – Connect

Welcome to the Prague Treasure Hunt 55+, a cultural and interactive adventure designed especially for active seniors!

Get ready to discover Prague in a different way. Instead of simply visiting famous landmarks, you will become an explorer, observer, photographer and storyteller. Together with your teammates, you will follow a route through the historic heart of Prague, solve simple challenges, discover cultural heritage and create memories along the way.

The Treasure Hunt will take you to five special locations: Old Town Square, the Astronomical Clock, Charles Bridge, Kampa/Malá Strana and the Vltava River. At every stop, your team will receive a small mission. You may need to find a hidden architectural detail, take a creative photograph, record a short video, answer a cultural question or share your impressions about Prague.

Your smartphone is part of the adventure! You will use it to take photos and videos, complete digital tasks and record your discoveries.

Work in teams of 2–3 people. Help each other, communicate and make sure that everyone has the opportunity to participate. This is not a race. Take your time, rest whenever you need to and enjoy the city at your own pace.

Complete the challenges, collect points and try to reach the maximum score of 60 points. Creativity, teamwork, participation and respect for cultural heritage are more important than speed.

Most importantly, enjoy being together, discover something new and prove that learning, curiosity and adventure have no age limit.

    Ready for the challenge?

Your Prague Treasure Hunt starts now!

Explore Prague. Learn together. Make memories that last!

  • Old Town Square – "Discover Prague"

*Old Town Square – "Discover Prague" (10 points):

The team identifies three different architectural styles or details and takes a group photo.

*Bonus: find a decorative detail on a building that other tourists might overlook. The square is one of the city's main historical spaces and has served as a commercial area since the Middle Ages.

*Astronomical Clock – "Time Detectives" (10 points): participants photograph the clock, discover the year 1410, and identify the 12 apostles. Digital challenge: a team member records a video lasting a maximum of 15 seconds saying, "We are Erasmus+ seniors discovering Prague!" The procession of the apostles takes place every hour between 08:00 and 23:00.

*Charles Bridge – "Find the Saint" (10 points): the team must find the statue of St. John of Nepomuk and take a creative photo. Bonus: discover how many statues and sculptural groups adorn the bridge. The target answer is 30.

*Kampa / Malá Strana – "Hidden Prague" (10 points): the seniors look for an element specific to Prague—such as an old shop sign, a decorated door, a street lamp, a sculpture, or an architectural detail—and photograph it. Then, each team must invent a title for the photo. This stage fosters creativity and heritage observation without requiring a strenuous physical task.

*Vltava – "Prague Reflections" (10 points): the team photographs an interesting reflection in the water and records a message of up to 20 seconds stating which element of Prague's heritage should be preserved for future generations. *FINAL TEAM CHALLENGE – 10 points: each team selects its 5 best photos—one for each stop—and then creates a video lasting a maximum of 30 seconds, concluding with the message: “Prague Treasure Hunt 55+ – Discover, Explore, Connect!”
